Certified Organic Cotton V Dress with Flower Eyelets / Off White

Classy, gentle, feminine – this is our new broderie anglaise collection! Broderie anglaise is traditional European embroidery with eyelets, that was very popular in Victorian Britain. Airy whitework (white embroidery on white) made on certified organic cotton inspired the whole set of romantic and elegant dresses. This one has very simple classic v-neck silhouette with open back that we use for many of our creations. But somehow it is absolutely stunning because of the way it flows and compliments any figure – curvy, lean or athletic. The fabrics of this dress, 100% organic cotton, is decorated with six petals flower eyelets, that remind of Chintamani main symbol – the Flower of Life. Meanwhile thin cotton white lining makes it non transparent and shows on the bottom as a gorgeous underskirt. There are two belts, that come in set: plain white and with flower eyelets. You can use them both to accentuate the waste and create absolutely boho layered bow – or use one for the hair and one for the dress!

Why did we start working with Organic Cotton? Generally, the Cotton industry is very harmful towards the environment and the people who are involved in it. Organic certification was created to improve this. Organic production systems reduce the use of toxic pesticides and fertilizers, and build biologically diverse agriculture. It is also very beneficial for the local communities working on the fields, as their labour conditions are improved and wages are raised up to certain standards. Hence, the price of the fabric is higher than the overall market price of cotton, but this money is invested into the future of our planet and into the happiness of the villagers, so that they can live their simple rural life in dignity.

Wash all-natural fabrics by hand or on a very gentle cold cycle, using ecological laundry products.
Please keep in mind that heat makes natural fabrics shrink a bit and that all fabrics get much softer after washing.
